Hello friends of Chance! We are very proud to announce the release of our new EP "3.0." This limited edition EP is the first set of recordings featuring our fantastic drummer, Dan Freedman. A collection of songs featuring the full range of the Chance sound, "3.0" includes live favorites "Royalty," "Too Many Questions," and the tender "And I Ask You." The three songs provide a sense of the newer sound that the band has cultivated over the past year as a rock trio, and should tide fans over until the band returns to the studio in the fall to resume work on the next full-length album. Copies of the album are available through the band's website store, HERE. With the purchase, buyers will be entitled to $2 off the price of the next album.

Tonight, we'll be playing a special show at the Hyatt Regency Washington, to raise money for minority scholarships to pursue prevention research. This is part of the annual conference of the Society for Prevention Research. It should be a fun evening! We hope we'll see you all soon!

Happy end of March! We've spent the past few weeks in the studio, completing work on our EP, which will double as three of the tracks off the next full-length album. We'll chronicle our studio adventures in the next couple days, but for now, we can say that we're psyched about the new material, and the experience with our new friends at Studio 8121 has been a great one.

We're looking ahead to an acoustic performance at Austin Grill in a couple of weeks, and then to our next DC show with Joe Hedges on the 27th. With some luck, we'll have the EP ready for consumption by then. If there's one thing we've been learning in the studio, it's how much it actually costs to get everything done the way we want it. On that note, if anyone would be interested in making a donation to support our creative process, we have now set up a donation page. You can access it: HERE.. As always, we thank you so much for your support!

Happy March! Thanks to everyone who came out to the Classic Rock and Comedy show in Adams Morgan last week! It was a lot of fun, and featured some great area comics. We're talking to Ian Salmon, comedian extraordinaire, about doing some more shows in the coming months, so stay tuned. We're entering an exciting stretch over the next few months! It all begins with a return to RNR, in the heart of DC's Chinatown, next Saturday, March 10th. Last time we played there, we rocked the house with a two and a half hour set. Let's pack the place again!!! The next weekend, we hit the studio to start recording the new album. We'll also be working on new material to incorporate into the live shows.

We are also excited to announce an April 27th show in DC with the phenomenally talented Joe Hedges (formerly of MCA recording artists July for Kings). Joe's new album "Curvature" is coming out soon, and his songs are already charting on internet radio. Plus, his brand new video "Mitral Valve Prolapse" has been seen over 30,000 times in the past few weeks on YouTube. You can check it out on YouTube That's sure to be a great show! We have a number of other shows on tap and more to come, so come one, come all!!!

We're also playing at a 94.7 Comedy and Rock show on Feb 28th at Bar Felix in Adams Morgan, featuring the hilarious Ian Salmon and other top area comedians We've also arranged to get back into the studio in mid-March, working on the follow-up to "Spinning Plates." We hope you'll check out our new material, both live and off the upcoming untitled release.
